Power & Mode Selection
The microphone features an integrated power module inline with the cable to switch between two modes:
Smartphone Mode: Slide the switch to "OFF/Smartphone". It draws passive power directly from your phone or laptop; no battery is required.
Camera Mode: Slide the switch to "Camera". This activates power from the internal LR44 button battery (included), which is required to feed audio to DSLR cameras, camcorders, and audio recorders.
